Institution where they come from.
-
Objectives: The aim of
the course is to promote the understanding of other identities, to
extend and develop strategies and methods on the development of a
multicultural school/society and to build up competences and
qualifications for a transnational cooperation between the Participants.
Based on the Participants' reflections on regional and national identity,
modules and methods will be prepared in order to promote the European
identity by learners.
-
Methodology:
Participants will work in teams and perform activities that are split
into training formats. Some session will include trainer presentation of
concepts and materials which lead to discussion and response.
Other sessions will encourage participants to share their experiences
and evaluate these experiences in the light of input from course tutors,
and to plan for action on their return to their own teaching contexts.
Pair work and group work will be a central part of the training
activities.
Care will be taken to allow equal participation by all, including those
who are less confident in English.
The methodology reflects the added-value of European cooperation,
blending reflective and action-based methods. Lectures will alternate
with workshops, discussion panels and case studies.
-

Participants will have at their disposal the Course web platform through
which they will comment on the way they use the knowledge gained in
their work.
