Summary |
The focus of the partnership is to
bring together experiences about European citizenship from the
perspective of different European areas (Northern Europe, Central
Europe, Southern Europe, Western Europe), increase awareness of the
benefits and consequences of the European integration in the target
groups and promote the understanding and tolerance among European
nations through the teaching of languages, cultures, history,
traditions, customer behaviour and interpersonal communication.
Main activities include initial questionnaires to gather information
about the perception of the concept of EU citizenship among
learners, multilateral exchange of teachers and learners with the
goal to increase the knowledge level on the European citizenship
from a perspective of the diversified regions of Europe and
activities to promote positive views of European integration and
citizenship: class activities, e-tandems between participating
learners, publication of studies resulting from the project
activities and information days for local communities, etc. The
final questionnaire at the end of the project will provide a
feedback on effect of dissemination activities and will assess
whether there have been any changes in the perceptions of learners.
Results from the feedback will help to improve the strategy of
stimulating adult learners demand for learning the European issues
and citizenship and designing the promotion activities for the
future. |
