Are you interested in receiving a
European grant? |
|
Presenters at, and participants to,
Comenius network events may have the possibility of be given a European
grant for participation. Such a grant is called "Comenius training
activities grant". The funding – as well as the decision - lies with the
National EU Agency in your country. You may apply for such a
grant with your agency; but do so early in time,
at the time that your participation to the conference has been confirmed
by us. Partners of Comenius school partnerships
may include cost for participation at Comenius network events when
defining the project budget and applying for project funding. |

School education staff (teaching and non-teaching), including:
-
teachers (including
those in pre-school and vocational education), and the trainers of
such teachers;
-
head teachers,
school managerial staff;
-
staff involved in
intercultural education or working with children of migrant workers
and travellers;
-
staff working with
pupils with special education needs;
-
staff working with
pupils at risk, such as mediators and street educators;
-
counsellors or
career advisors;
-
the inspectorate;
-
other education
staff at the discretion of national authorities.

How do applicants apply for a grant |

Any candidate interested in this
training event will contact us (filling in the
Pre-registration form)
to express his or her interest and check that places are still available
before applying to his LLP National Agency for a Comenius grant.
Applicants may be required to enclose with their application a
confirmation of provisional registration.

If the candidate is then awarded a
grant by his National Agency, he will contact us to confirm this and to
formally register for the training event. If the candidate has not been
awarded a grant, it is his responsibility to contact us to cancel any
pre-registration which may have been made.

From the moment the candidate receives
a grant from his National Agency and confirms his attendance at training
event, he has responsibilities towards us, the training provider. If he
cancels his attendance, he will be responsible for paying a cancellation
fee. Only in very exceptional cases of force majeure (e.g. serious
illness or death of the candidate or close family member) may his
National Agency pay cancellation fees using grant funds.
